Tracking Dashboard
Total Trailers
The total number of trailers currently visible in the fleet, including active, inactive, and not-reporting units.
Critical Trailers
Trailers with severe issues that require immediate attention—typically related to telematics failures, safety faults, or urgent maintenance alerts.
Warning Trailers
Trailers with moderate issues that should be addressed soon but are not yet critical.
Cluster Marker
A blue circle on the map representing a group of trailers located close together geographically. The number indicates how many trailers are in that cluster.
Trailer Pin
An individual map pin representing a single trailer’s last known location.
VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
A unique 17-character identifier assigned to each trailer. Used to track status, alerts, and history.
Trailer ID / Unit ID
The internal identifier for trailers, used by FleetPulse to associate data, telematics readings, and maintenance history.
Not Reporting
A trailer whose device has not sent telematics data within the expected reporting window.
Geofence
A virtual boundary drawn on the map to monitor when trailers enter or exit specific locations.
Activity Log
A record of key events related to a trailer—locations, alerts, maintenance actions, and sensor changes.
Preventative Maintenance Log
A record of completed or scheduled maintenance events for a trailer.
Nearest Service Center
Identifies the closest authorized service center based on a trailer’s last known location.
Sensor Details
Information reported by the trailer’s telematics device—such as battery, GPS position, or optional sensors.
Map Filters
Options that let you refine the map view by trailer category, customer, alert severity, product type, and other attributes.
Last Refreshed
Indicates when the map and trailer data were last updated.
Location Search
Search tool used to find a specific city, address, or landmark on the map.
VIN / Trailer Search
Search field used to locate a specific trailer by VIN or Trailer ID.
Map Layers (Traffic, Weather, Satellite)
Visual overlays that provide additional context around trailer locations.
Cluster Zoom
Automatically expands a cluster marker into more detailed pins or sub-clusters as the user zooms in.
Device Information
Details about the telematics hardware installed on the trailer, including installation status and serial numbers.
Reporting Status
Indicates whether a trailer’s device is actively transmitting data (e.g., Reporting, Not Reporting, Never Reported).
Utilization Dashboard
Weekly/Monthly Filter
Allows the user to view trailer utilization data aggregated by week or by month.
Graph View
Displays trailer utilization data visually as a bar chart.
Table View
Displays the same data in a tabular format for detailed review.
Moved Trailers %
The percentage of trailers that were actively moved during the selected period.
Your Fleet Average Utilization %
The average utilization percentage of all trailers in your fleet over the selected period.
FleetPulse Average Utilization %
The average utilization percentage across all FleetPulse customers, providing a benchmark.
Idle Trailers Detected
The number and percentage of trailers that have not been moved for an extended period (e.g., 60 days) and could be repositioned to improve utilization.
Potential Weekly Utilization Improvement
An estimate of the percentage increase in utilization if idle trailers are moved.
Underutilized Groups
Trailer groups or categories with the lowest utilization, highlighting opportunities for optimization.
Lowest Weekly Group Utilization %
The specific utilization percentage of the least utilized trailer group during the selected period.
Export Dwell Report
Generates a report of trailer dwell and utilization data for external analysis or record-keeping.
Hover Info
Hovering over a bar in the chart displays more detailed utilization data for that period.
Filters
Options to refine data by customer, trailer group, location, or other relevant attributes.
View Details / Dismiss Buttons
Interactive controls to expand insights on specific trailers or groups or remove alerts from the dashboard view.
Average % Utilization
The percentage of time trailers are actively used versus idle during the selected period.
Yard Check Dashboard
Yard Name
The name of the physical yard or location where trailers are stored or staged. Each yard is listed individually in the table.
Total Trailers
The total number of trailers currently located in a yard.
Loaded Trailers
The number of trailers in a yard that are currently loaded with cargo.
Unloaded Trailers
The number of trailers in a yard that are currently empty or unloaded.
Yard Search / Filter
A tool to filter yards by name or other criteria for easier navigation of large fleets.
Create Yard
Button to add a new yard/location to the system for tracking and reporting purposes.
Create Yard Report
Generates a detailed report of a yard’s trailers, including loaded/unloaded status and other relevant metrics.
Export Yard Summary
Exports a summary of yard activity and trailer counts for external review or record-keeping.
Map View / Cluster Markers
Displays all yards on a map. Cluster markers group yards geographically; the number on the marker indicates how many yards are in that cluster.
Satellite Toggle
Switches the map between satellite imagery and standard map view for better spatial context.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Provides quick navigation instructions for moving, zooming, and navigating the map efficiently.
Filter Columns (Total Trailers, Loaded, Unloaded)
Allows dynamic filtering directly in the table to focus on specific metrics or yard conditions.
Yard Drill-down
Clicking on a yard name opens detailed information about that yard’s trailers and status.
Map Data & Scale
Information about the source of map imagery (Google, NASA, INEGI) and the map scale for distance reference.
Report a Map Error
Provides a link to report inaccuracies in map display or satellite imagery.
Select Customer
Dropdown to filter yards and data based on specific customer accounts.
Geofence Dashboard
Geofence
A virtual boundary drawn on a map to monitor assets, such as trailers, entering or exiting a specified area.
Add Geofence
Button to create a new geofence by selecting a location and drawing a shape on the map.
Geofence Name
The unique identifier for a geofence, used to label and reference it in reports and alerts.
Category
Optional classification for a geofence (e.g., Customer Site, DC, Yard) to group and filter geofences.
Description
Optional text providing additional information about the geofence’s purpose or restrictions.
Select Customer
Dropdown to filter geofences associated with a specific customer account.
Search by Geofence Name
Input field to quickly locate a specific geofence by its name.
Search by Category
Input field or dropdown to filter geofences based on assigned category.
Geofence List
A scrollable table displaying all geofences, including their name, category, and status.
Map View / Markers
Visual representation of geofences on the map. Each marker corresponds to a geofence location.
Circle / Polygon Shape
Options for geofence shape:
Circle – Defines a circular boundary with a fixed radius.
Polygon – Draws a custom multi-point boundary for irregular shapes.
Save / Cancel Buttons
Controls to save a newly created geofence or discard changes during creation.
Map Layers / Satellite Toggle
Switch between standard map view and satellite imagery to visualize geofence locations in con
