🔋 Battery Replacement Guide

Locate the battery box under the trailer, next to the landing gear
Disconnect the Battery Jumper Harness from the Battery Fuse Harness along the crossmember in the landing gear
What bracket style is the battery box?
Current Style Battery Box
Loosen and remove the nuts and bolts on each side of the battery bracket
Rotate the retainer bracket against the battery cover, then slide the battery and retainer bracket out of the housing
Remove the Battery Fuse Harness positive and negative ring terminals from the old battery
Connect the Battery Fuse Harness positive and negative ring terminals to the new battery
Insert the new battery into the battery cover, slide into the bracket housing, and feed the Battery Harness out of the back of the bracket
Reinstall the retainer bracket against the battery cover and secure with the two nuts and bolts
Reconnect the Battery Jumper Harness to the Battery Fuse Harness along the crossmember in the landing gear
Is MC4 reporting as expected?
YES
✅ Finished
NO
Is the 10A fuse blown in the Battery Fuse Harness?
YES
Replace the fuse
NO
Is the door sensor damaged or missing?
YES
Unplug the door sensor from the squid harness and cap or clip any exposed wires at the door sensor location
NO

Old Style Battery Box
⚠️ See Work Instructions for Retrofitting an FP Pro Lithium-Ion Battery on a Gen1 Bracket with Band Clamp (pages 7–8)
Loosen and remove the 4 nuts and bolts on each side of the battery bracket — the battery box will come free from the trailer
Remove all screws holding the top cover to the battery box, then remove the old battery
Remove the Battery Fuse Harness positive and negative ring terminals from the old battery
Connect the Battery Fuse Harness positive and negative ring terminals to the new battery
Reinstall the battery box onto the trailer with nuts and bolts
Reconnect the Battery Jumper Harness to the Battery Fuse Harness along the crossmember in the landing gear
Is MC4 reporting as expected?
YES
✅ Finished
NO
Is the 10A fuse blown in the Battery Fuse Harness?
YES
Replace the fuse
NO
Is the door sensor damaged or missing?
YES
Unplug the door sensor from the squid harness and cap or clip any exposed wires at the door sensor location
NO
