Understanding the Fleet Page and how to export data
Understanding how to export data for your fleet.
Table of Contents
The Fleet page holds device information for every trailer on your account. Search, customize your columns (fields), apply filters, and export the results to a spreadsheet in about two minutes.
- Audience: Fleet operators and admins
- Time: About 2 minutes
- Output: CSV export
What is the Fleet page for?
The Fleet page lists every trailer on your account that's paired with a FleetPulse Telematics Gateway, along with each one's most current reporting data, all in a single view.
You can also export that information in bulk. Instead of opening one trailer at a time in Map View or the trailer drawer, filter the list on the Fleet page and export everything that matches to a single CSV.
Before you start. Sign in to FleetPulse. You need permission to view Fleet and to export data.
Step 1: Start at your dashboard
Signing in brings you to your main dashboard. The main menu runs down the left side of the page.

Step 2: Select Fleet in the left menu
Click Fleet. This opens the full list of every device on your account. It's also where you check whether a device is reporting or has stopped reporting.

Step 3: Search and filter to the trailers you want
The Fleet page can hold tens of thousands of rows, so the filters do the work for you. There are three places to narrow the list, marked in the picture below.
- Column Visibility and Filter By Faults: Column Visibility lets you choose which columns appear on the page. Filter By Faults narrows the list to trailers that are reporting a fault.
- The search row under the column headers: Each column gets its own search box or dropdown. Type a VIN or Trailer ID, or pick a value from a list, and the table updates as you go. You can use several columns at once to get very specific.
- The Filters toggle: This switches that search row on and off. If you don't see the boxes under the headers, turn this on.
Whatever you filter to is what gets exported, so get the list right before moving on.

Step 4: Export to CSV
Click Export to CSV at the top of the page. It sits just to the left of the Filters toggle.
The export includes every row that matched your filters, not only the rows you can see on screen. The file lands in your browser's usual download folder and opens in Excel or Google Sheets.

A few things that help
- Check the count first: The bottom of the page shows how many devices matched.
- Filters decide the export: Anything filtered out will not be in the file.
- No search boxes? Turn the Filters toggle on at the top right.
